Oculus has always strived to lower the cost of their headsets and push the boundaries of VR. Each iteration of the Oculus headset has displayed vast improvements. As the associated expenses have lowered, we’ve seen more and more developers leap in VR development. Oculus’s newest headset, the Quest 2, is among the best wireless VR headsets on the market. But we’re not here to talk about the Oculus Quest 2. We’ll save that for another time. Let’s talk about games! Here are some of the best games you can play on your new Oculus Quest 2. 

BEAT SABER

Beat Saber is not only one of the best rhythm games, but also one of the best VR games. The goal is simple! Slash the beats as they come at you and avoid any incoming obstacles. The only downside is that due to the Oculus App ecosystem, there isn’t a mod community available to take advantage of this fantastic game. There is, however, enough DLC constantly incoming to keep you dancing and slicing for some time.

MYST

The critically acclaimed puzzle adventure game has been re-imagined and built from the ground for VR up with new art, sound, interactions, and even optional puzzle randomization. Unravel the mysteries of Myst island and experience this masterpiece in a whole new way.

SHADOW POINT

It’s not quite Fortnite but if you’re looking for a Battle-Royale-like experience for VR, then be sure to check out Population: One. With an emphasis on mobility and verticality, players can fly, climb, and fight to be the last standing. Population: One also keeps things fresh with live ongoing in-game content and events. Population: One is a fun, action-packed VR experience that keeps things new through updates and constant content.

TETRIS: EFFECT

Winner of dozens of awards, Tetris: Effect is one of the best games on VR. Tetris: Effect is unlike any Tetris game you’ve ever played.
